For modding's sake, it is my hope that because AI generated content itself cannot be copyrighted in the US (see prior tech news on copyright office and at least one basic court ruling), then this would not be considered copyright infringement.
As someone who has played through FO4 once, I personally appreciate that this mod was made to enhance role playing through dialog. This is a unique use of AI on a game's voice content in order to generate more voice content for the purpose of a game mod. It remains to be seen whether tweaking existing voice files with AI to create new sound-like lines will hold up to legal and copyright scrutiny or whether the new material can claim its own copyright.
